When creating a magnetic field analysis model of a small transformer composed of coils made of laminated copper sheets, if the solid shape of the coil is automatically generated using a mesh creation tool, it results in flat elements that worsen the convergence characteristics. This document introduces a method for modeling the thin plate conductors in the coil section using shell elements for magnetic field analysis.
